Another Father’s Day full of special and memorable moments has come and gone, but the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse has kept the momentum going through the #makeamoment campaign. This year, we have been reminding dads that it only takes a moment to make a memory that will last children a lifetime!

As an integral part of our Father’s Day festivities, the NRFC, in partnership with the Ad Council and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, released brand new public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs are an exciting continuation of the Ad Council’s Fatherhood Involvement campaign, which first launched in 2008. The new editions can be found on the NRFC website here, and they are available in audio, video, and print formats.

These heartwarming PSAs celebrate the moments that make being a dad great! From helping baby learn how to crawl to dance offs in the living room, fatherhood is full of opportunities to #makeamoment every single day. There are PSAs available for Spanish speakers as well, such as this video of a father and his new baby sharing a laugh and a little music together. Check them out, share them, and remember to treasure the everyday experiences that make fatherhood so special.

The NRFC has also been inviting dads to share how they made their own memories this year using #makeamoment on social media. The response so far has been great, and fathers from all over the country have sent in their photos. Here is just a small selection of the submissions we are proud to share with you:

You can submit your own photo to the NRFC here, and as always, we encourage all the dads out there to keep making moments and inspire other dads to do the same!
