Urban Grind Coffee House will host fatherhood expert and executive director of Fathers Incorporated, Kenneth Braswell for a book reading and signing event for Atlanta children on Saturday, February 13th, in Atlanta from 1:00 to 3:00PM. Braswell will be reading and signing his latest children’s book: “Daddy There’s A Noise Outside”.

Braswell’s newest venture “Daddy, There’s A Noise Outside,” begins when two children are awakened by noises in the middle of the night outside the window of their inner-city neighborhood. Both their Dad and Mom spend the next morning explaining to them what was taking place in their community. This book takes the complex issue of protesting and breaks the conversation down so that a 1st grader can understand. Braswell has also developed a parent-teacher guide to help those continue the conversation with their children and students.

Kenneth Braswell has spent over 24 years in the service of families and communities. Husband and father of four, Braswell continues to see the world through the eye of his own children. In 2004 he created Fathers Incorporated (FI). With national and international missions, the agency provides capacity building services to thousands of organizations working to ensure that fathers contribute to the healthy well-being of their children.

Kenneth Braswell is the author of two books, two documentaries and several training materials.
