We keep having this conversation…yet the fatherhood field hasn’t consistently done the work to ensure that the policies reflect the need of fathers. As a result this is a storyline that keeps getting attention and raising the blood pressure of fathers who read it, yet not addressing a blanket solution that not only include policy change, but the resources to make sure these men don’t end up in these predicaments in the first place.

Fathers Incorporated (FI) is a national, non-profit organization working to build stronger families and communities through the promotion of Responsible Fatherhood. Established in 2004, FI has a unique seat at the national table, working with leaders in the White House, Congress, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Family Law, and the Responsible Fatherhood Movement.
